Activities
Camping Castell Montgri has 3 beautiful swimming pools, one with water slides! The most spectacular pool is 1800 m2, has a beautiful view and a large sunbathing area. Even the little ones can play in the water at the children's pool and 'mini lagoon' for splashing around. Water sports enthusiasts will have a great time on the beaches of L'Estartit where they can water ski, snorkel, surf, sail and swim. The fine sandy beach is very shallow and therefore ideal for families with small children. The beaches of L'Estartit are just a 10-minute walk from the campsite. During the high season, Castell Montgri also offers a shuttle bus up and down. There is an extensive program of activities for both young and old. For young children there is a Kids Club, mini disco, petting zoo and playgrounds. The campsite also has a farm, a water mini disco and a pony park! During the high season, Castell Montgri organizes craft workshops for children: ceramics, painting, glassware etc. For the teenagers, sports competitions and youth nights are organized. There is also a (soundproof) disco for the youth. There are plenty of activities such as tennis, volleyball, archery, mini golf and horseback riding. Various evening shows are organized in the evenings, such as “Montgri’s Got Talent”, where the family can participate in a talent show with the whole campsite!
After all of these activities, you’ll have worked up an appetite. Camping Castell Montgri has no less than three restaurants, a pizzeria, cafeteria and snack bar.

The nearest shops, restaurants, cafes and even a marina can be found in L'Estartit which is only 1.5 kilometers from Camping Castell Montgri. In the months of July and August there will be a free shuttle bus to and from the beach. The Costa Brava is known for its kilometers of beaches. From Camping Castell Montgri it is only a ten minute walk to the fantastic beaches of L'Estartit. The Mendes islands are located one kilometer from the seaside resort of L'Estartit. From Estartit, go on an excursion in a glass-fronted boat to the Mendes Islands, a protected nature reserve with various animal and plant species. Go on a diving excursion to admire beautiful coral and fish species. Or for even more water fun, go for a day at the Marineland water park in Palafoll (80km) with many water slides, a small zoo and even dolphin and sea lion shows.
