At the heart of Twente, near Ootmarsum, is the 5-star campsite de Molenhof. The campsite is located next to an ancient, still operating mill. With over 30 places to play, the covered play farmhouse, a water playground, an air trampoline and the swimming pool paradise with a water slide of 50 yards (45 m.) your children will not be bored for a second. If the weather is nice the roof of the swimming pool is opened, so that you can enjoy the weather while swimming!
In 2021 de Molenhof received the best campsite award by the ANWB, the ANWB is the Royal Dutch Touring Association. In the year 2018 the ANWB awarded campsite de Molenhof with the title of top campsite. Additionally Camping.info declared de Molenhof as one of the 100 best campsites of Europe.
