Family campsite by a recreational lake with sandy beach
Due to the peace and quietness this is the perfect location for you to relax. The holiday park is beautifully situated on a recreational lake with a fine sandy beach. Your children will have hours of fun in the water and on the beach. Climbing in the wooden playground on the beach and playing with sand while the parents enjoy the sun.
Wide range of facilities
Thanks to the indoors-playinghall Koos Kids Club and the animation team you children will be kept busy for hours, if not for days. They organise: crafting, quests, soccer tournements, snorkeling in the pool and the mini disco. Holidaypark Hunzedal has excellent facilities. There is a swimming pool paradise, which has slides, rapid water flows, a bubble bath, a seperated children's pool and the outdoors pool. Further can you relax in the sauna or in the Turkish steam bath. Besides a recreational lake with sandy beach and a tennis court does Hunzedal also offer an indoor Adventure hall with the possibility to wall climb, bow shooting or find a way through the undergrond labyrinth for a fee. You can also play mini golf and bowling at the park (admission required). Further can you find multiple restaurants on the campsite, like: a brasserie, pizzeria, a pancake house and a snackbar!
Dolmen
The mysterious dolmens, enormous stacked stones, which you find spread across the Drenthe countryside, combined with the still unspoilt nature, form the tourist attraction which Drenthe represents for many years. In the enjoyable village of Borger, in the midst of nature and surrounded by dolmens, lies holiday resort Hunzedal, a versatile holiday resort with many activities.

In Drenthe you can find hunebedden, these are pre-historic structures that used to serve as a grave. Nowadays only the rocks on top are visible. You can only find hunebedden in Drenthe. The largest one is located near Hunzedal, as well as the Flint'n hoes, which is the official Dutch hunebed information centre. Besides this we recommend you to take a trip to Kabouterland (Gnomeland) in Exloo, Sprookjeshof (Fairy tales hall) in Zuidlaren or the Wild Land Adventure Zoo in Emmen.
