Cosy, family campsite on the beautiful Lago Maggiore
Camping Lago Maggiore is a pleasant campsite on the quiet, southwestern side of Lake Maggiore, 3 km from the beautiful city Arona. At the Lago Maggiore campsite, hidden in the middle of the green, you can enjoy romantic sunsets and hire a boat for a cruise around the lake or fishing. This cozy campsite is particularly suitable for families with young children. From campsite Lago Maggiore you can walk to the private beach at the lake. The little ones can play in the sand, while you can watch them from your deckchair.
Activities
Several renovations have recently been completed at the campground. First of all, 'Magoland' has become a fantastic playground with several slides where children can play to their hearts' content. For the little ones, there is a colored mini-club where they can play safely under supervision and meet the mascot Mago.
Do you like to be active? Then you can play a game of tennis, soccer or table tennis. In high season, games and sports tournaments are also organized.
Last year the Mago Bay water park was also partially renovated and expanded. Enjoy the water slide, a water playground for the little ones and various games in the new colorful pool. Around the pool you can relax on a lounger with a snack and drink from the bar.
A new cool water slide will be installed at the swimming pool for the 2025 season!
Services
In addition to the many activities available on the campsite, Lago Maggiore offers several activitities to take part in while on your holiday. For example, you can rent a bike, canoe or horse. And (for a fee) you can also use the tennis court! For fresh bread rolls, no need to leave the campsite: it is available at the campsite. Also, a larger supermarket can be found by the entrance of the campsite. Make sure to visit the bar and have a beverage at Camping Village Lago Maggiore. For a fee you can use the washing machine and WiFi. There is a medical vending machine for the basic necessities such as plasters, disinfectants, mosquito repellents and there is a pharmacy at about 200 meters form the campsite.

Soak in the sun, dip in the lake Lagio Maggiore, experience the culture and savour the fine cuisine. For example, consider the lively weekly market in a Arona or a visit to the cities of Stresa and Orto San Giulio. Or take the cable car to the Mottarone where you can enjoy beautiful views. Hire a boat and more at the most beautiful places! You can also visit Wildpark Parco dei Lagoni, 4 km from the campsite. Or take the train and travel from Arona and Dormeletto to Milan!
