Campsite Rio Vantone, a pearl at Lake Idro!
The 4-star campsite Rio Vantone is stunning, situated at Lake Idro, a lesser known but beautiful lake of northern Italy. And the famous Garda Lake is only a 30-minute drive away. This campsite is ideal for families with younger children and babies. Plenty of activities and entertainment are available at Rio Vantone.
Activities
At campsite Rio Vantone, you’ll find a small swimming pool, a children’s pool, a private beach and a boat dock. Water sports are plentiful at this campsite, with rental options such as sailboats, catamarans, row boats, pedal boats or canoes. Rio Vantone even has its own surf school on site, where the whole family can learn a new water skill. It’s also possible to go fishing at the lake.
In the high season, from July to August, can the kids participate in the Children’s Club. The animation team organizes a daily itinerary full of games, workshops and events for the family to experience. Other activities include table tennis, beach volleyball,, mountain bike rental, as well as the children’s playground on site that has a fun climbing wall. Rio Vantone offers hiking and biking trips, as well.

You can have drink in the espresso and cocktail baror go to the snack bar and Gelateria. The Idro lake is located in between the Garda lake and the Iseo lake. The Idro lake is less known than the other lakes, yet it is known for its pure mountain water that drips right in the lake from of the mountain! The nature around Rio Vantone is stunning and the hospitability of the locals make this campsite very attractive. Located directly at the lake one can find cosy villages likes Crone and Idro. Here you can find shops, markets and restaurants. Those who love to climb mountains will surely enjoy this campsite as the mountains surrounding this campsite are very popular amongst mountain climbers. For the children there is a canyon trail with hanging bridges and climbing rocks! If you want a cultural trip you should visit Brescia! On top of all this the campsite organises trips to for instance the city of Venice or to the opera in the arena of Venice!
