The best campsite at Lake Garda; Bella Italia!

5-star campsite Bella Italia has it all: a beautiful spot right at Lake Garda, a water park paradise with five large swimming pools and accompanying water slides, several restaurants, bars, shops and a varied choice of sports and game programs. Via the pedestrian walkway that scales along lake Garda, you can walk to Peschiera del Garda, which is an atmospheric port city with many cosy bars and terraces. No wonder campsite Bella Italia is such a popular destination for tourists all over Europe!

Activities

All members of the family will fall in love with Bella Italia. For the kids, there’s the Mini Club from ages 4 to 12, where your children can try cooking classes, fly kites, paint faces, football school, participate in evening shows, treasure hunts and so much more, all while making friends from all around the globe!

Sports

For the athletic members of the family (young and old), there are countless sports and activities to participate in, such as tennis, archery, water aerobics, football, basketball, beach volleyball, ping pong and even nordic walking. Furthermore, there are many water sports to experience, like canoeing, SUP, parasailing, banana boats, kite surfing and more.

In the evening, a fantastic staff of artists will amaze you every night, after the baby dance, with games, group dances, themed nights, musicals, live music and much more, for magical nights full of charm and good atmosphere. There is also a shuttle bus to Caneva during the high season, a great nightclub for teenagers.

Restaurant Le Terrazze serves delicious Italian dishes and from the terrace you have a beautiful view over the lake and the mountains that surround the water. The Mobil Home Orion (approx. 30 m²) is suitable for 6 people and has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed, the other rooms each have 2 single beds. There is a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. The bathroom has a shower and sink, with a separate toilet. Bella Italia is at walking distance from the historical city centre of Peschiera del Garda. Every monday there is a big market in Peschiera where you can buy all sorts of bargains. From here you can also take a boat to Bardolino, where you can enjoy a nice glass of Bardolino wine or take a boat to Sirmione, where you can visit the castle and the historic city centre. By car or by train bigger cities like Venice and Verona can easily be reached. Please take into account that this area is very busy during the summer, even though if you ask us Venice is an expierence you may not miss. Next to that Bella Italia is the perfect basis for trips to amusment parks like Gardaland, water parks like Caneva World, golf courses like Golf Club Paradiso or the Parco Natura Viva.

Fantastic campsite. All site staff very friendly. Good atmosphere. The lake was so close and safe to swim in.

We had a late flight and arrived shortly after 11pm into Bella Italia. Our hosts (rent a tent) had left an envelope with our keys and map (showing cabin location) at the main check in area. We had booked two (3bed) lodges and they had situated us side by side which was ideal. The accomodation was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well and kept us cool in the warm evenings. The cabins were well equipped with all the necessary delf and cooking utensils. Each cabin, had there own clean gas bbq's, which were a great addition. We were in a lovely quiet area in the campsite and really enjoyed our stay. It is our second stay with Rent a tent at Bella Italia and we would book with no one else! Our hosts dropped by regularly to see that everything was okay or if we need anything...they were so welcoming and couldn't do enough. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the campsite, between the pool and playgrounds they were kept busy. Restaurants onsite catered for all dietary requirements and the staff were very efficient and helpful.

We had a great time in Bella Italia, the food in the restaurants was very good, the supermarket had anything we needed. The pools were superb, the animations were enjoyable. The campsite itself is very clean, and has a nice layout so it’s easy to find your way around. Our accommodations with Rent a Tent was excellent, very clean and in a good location to access pools & restaurants. The lake is beautiful & warm and offers so many activities. I highly recommend any family to visit Bella Italia for a vacation!

Pleasantly surprised by the “home” we stayed in as this was our first experience of this type of holiday. Well equipped supermarket although frequently long queues for purchases. On site restaurant of an ok standard with pleasant staff and efficient service. Disappointed that none of the pools were actually deep enough to swim in, but clearly this is a safety measure given how full of children they all are. The ladies toilet near the main pool was out of order our entire stay, leaving 1 male toilet with queues when you wanted to go whilst at this pool which I feel was poor.

We had a great ten night holiday in Camping Bella Italia. We stayed in a Rent-a-Tent mango premium mobile which was spotless. It had a fully covered deck with sun loungers and plenty of chairs. Our flight from Dublin was delayed and we were late getting to the campsite but the Rent-A-Tent rep had been in contact with details of how to find our accommodation. The bottle of wine awaiting us was also a lovely touch and very welcome after a long trying journey.
