Swimming pool paradise with slides
In the heart of the Vendéee you will find Campsite Les Amiaux. It is located near St. Jean de Monts, with its beautiful boulevard and many terraces. The campsite is only 700 meters from the beach of Davière Plage, that you can easily reach via a beautiful hiking trail. The campsite is divided into two parts that are connected via a tunnel. Enjoy the peace and nature on the Atlantic coast!
Water fun
At Les Amiaux you will find 2 swimming pool complexes, one of which even with an indoor and outdoor pool! In the indoor swimming pool you can enjoy wellness with water jets, massage benches, a river with counter current and Balneotherapy. The little ones can enjoy splashing in the paddling pool. In addition to the indoor pool there is an outdoor pool with no less than 4 different water slides! Plenty of water fun for the youth. The 2nd heated outdoor swimming pool is close to the reception and is open in July and August. Here you can swim, while the little ones play in the water playground with slide, water mushroom and water sprinklers.
Activities
In high season this family campsite organizes various activities for sports enthusiasts, including archery, aqua gym, fitness, laser gaming and various tournaments. They also offer a volleyball field, table tennis tables, boules range and tennis courts. In addition the multi-sports field offers the possibility to play football and basketball. The campsite has its own fitness room. Children from the age of 6-12 can have fun at the campsite's mini club. In the evening there is entertainment like bingo, karaoke and various shows.
To enjoy
After a day of activities you can enjoy a cold drink on the large terrace of the campsite, while in the evening you can dine tastefully in the restaurant or have a drink at the bar. If you prefer to eat at your own accommodation? At the restaurant you can also use the option to pick up meals.

The beach can be reached in around 700 meters via a path through the woods and the dunes. This path is not passable with a bicycle or pram. In that case please take the bicycle path of approx. 1.2 km long.
Saint Jean de Monts is a small port village on the so-called Côte de Lumiere (light coast). Every morning there is a market near the church where you can buy specialties from the Vendée such as brioche, caillebotte and the well-known trouspinette (local wine). In the evening you can stroll around the night market.
Go by boat to Ile d'Yeu. In about 30 minutes you are at the harbor of this small island. Then explore this picturesque island by bicycle or on foot.
Planète Sauvage is an animal reserve of more than 80 ha. Almost 1000 animals and 150 animal species have found their home in this protected nature reserve. A nice outing is also Marine City where you can get acquainted with the dolphins.
One of the best amusement parks in the world is Puy du Fou. It is a historic amusement park that is filled with shows including Vikings and ancient Romans. An absolute must for young and old!
You can also go cycling and hiking in the surroundings of the Les Amiaux campsite.
